Vehicle Trajectory Modelling - ISISS M. Casagrande (Pieve di Soligo)

Vehicles while moving follow specific trajectories, which present particular and interesting aspects when studied with mathematical tools. The goal of this article is to analyse the trajectories of two different vehicles. First we will analyze the motion of a bicycle, focusing on its footprint, and then we will move to the development of a simple model to compute the optimal racing line of an F1 car on track.
