Poster: Traffic jams - Colegiul National Emil Racovita (Cluj - Roumanie)

Our goal is to study the traffic flow and find out a general formula that expresses how many steps the traffic will become fluid. We consider a traffic fluid when every single car can move forward. The mathematical approach will produce a result based on the number of groups of the same kind of cell that can be computed by hand using different generated formulas. We started from more particular cases and, finally, by using mathematical induction, we reached some formulas.
